Stromal cell derived factor-1 (SDF-1), is a known chemokine involved in angiogenesis and chemo attraction of stem cells into injury area.Group 2 (30 rats) were sham injected (5% dextrose) after VD and LPP was measured at same time points (10 rats per time point).Group 1 (42 rats) underwent SDF-1 injection followed by Leak point pressure (LPP) measurement at 4, 7, and 14 days (14 rats per time point).Compared to the O-V, UBP was significantly increased in the O-L (n=6) and O-H (n=9) by 123% and 86%, and AURS was significantly increased in the O-H and O-D (n=10) by 106% and 60%.Following LPP measurement, urogenital tissues were harvested for histological examination.Methods Female nulliparous Sprague-Dawley rats with bilateral OVX were used.At 2 or 3 weeks after OVX, GSK (or vehicle) or DHT treatment was started.Results As expected, the LPP decreased at 4 days in both groups.
